2017 Australia Post : Justice League

On October 17, 2017, Australia Post issued a stamp pack featuring twenty collectible Justice League tabs. The character tabs are not valid for postage. Each pack includes twenty $1 AUD postage stamps. The Australia map stamp was originally issued on January 25, 2016, as part of the Love to Celebrate series (Scott Australia #4522). The Australia stamp was designed by Sierra Delta in Burnley, Victoria.

The character tab images are from the 2012 Justice League Style Guide penciled by José Luis García-López and inked by Brett Breeding.

The Justice League stamp booklet reproduces the fourth printing cover of Justice League #1 (October 2011). The booklet cover was penciled by Ivan Reis, inked by Joe Prado, and colored by Rod Reis. The seven Justice League members featured are Aquaman, Batman, Cyborg, Flash, Green Lantern, Superman, and Wonder Woman.

The Justice League of America first appeared in The Brave and the Bold #28 (February–March 1960). The team was conceived by writer Gardner Fox, modeled after the Justice Society of America. The original Justice League roster included J'onn J'onzz, the Martian Manhunter.

Australia Post issued official Superman postage stamps for the DC Comics series in 2022, and the Superman 85th Anniversary in 2023.
