2013 Cool Kids Combos : Man of Steel Collectible Cards
On April 23 2013, Carl's Jr. and Hardee's released a collection of toy
premiums and trading cards to promote the Zack Snyder film Man of Steel. The movie was released in the United States on June 14, 2013.
The premiums were included with purchases of Cool Kids Combos at participating
Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s locations in the U.S. The collection featured a
Superman figure, a Glyph Ring, a silicone wristband, and a nine-card of
collectible cards.

Each foil pack includes a different set of three unnumbered cards. Henry
Cavill appears as Superman on two different cards.

card game was included with Cool Kids Combos in 2007. Throughout April and May
of 2013, the Carl's Cool Kids website offered free
Man of Steel wallpapers, a maze activity, and a coloring page to
download. Carl's Cool Kids relaunched as Carl's Star Pals on June 19, 2019.
Carl's Jr. and Hardee's began airing Man of Steel television
commercials on May 27, 2013. The television spots were created by 72andSunny.
The storylines highlight everyday "supermen" that deserve an 830 calorie
"Super Bacon Cheese" burger. Select restaurants in North and South America offered a set of four
40-ounce Man of Steel collectible cups. The collection features
the film logo, the House of El film logo, Superman, Jor-El, and General Zod.
