2025 Upper Deck CDD Conference : Fleer Ultra Thunder Clap
Upper Deck CDD Conference trading cards were distributed at the Upper
Deck Certified Diamond Dealer Conference. The event was held January 7– 9,
2025, at the Renaissance Orlando Resort and Spa.
The exclusive 15-card collection was distributed in three subsets: NHL
players, AEW wrestlers, and DC Comics characters. Each box contains a
five-card subset. Each individual card was packaged in a penny sleeve and
toploader with an Upper Deck seal.
The foil-stamped card designs are based on the 1996 Fleer Ultra
"Thunder Clap" baseball insert series. Red variants are serial numbered #/25 and purple
variants are #1/1.
The Superman card front artwork is from the cover of Superman #204 (June 2004). The image was penciled by Jim Lee, inked by Scott Williams, and colored by Alex Sinclair. The card back artwork is from Action Comics #957 (Early August 2016). The page was penciled and inked by Patrick Zircher and colored by Tomeu Morey.
