Danone : Superman Stickers
In 1979, Danone released a series of 12 stickers in Italy that feature
Superman and other DC Comics characters. The "Autoadesivo" collection
includes promotional images of Christopher Reeves and Marlon Brando from
Superman: The Movie. The film was released in Italy on January 18, 1979.
One sticker was included with specially marked packages of Danone food
products sold throughout Italy. Each sticker measures about 4.75 x 3 inches
(12 x 7.5 cm). The front of each sticker is copyrighted "D.C. Comics Inc 1979"
and the sticker backs are printed in Italian.
Identical promotional images from the Richard Donner Superman films were used in trading cards set issued by Topps Chewing Gum and Monty Fabrieken. Superman: The Movie was promoted in Spain by Coca-Coca.
Danone Indonesia promoted the 2016 release of
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Four limited edition bottles of Mizone vitamin water featured Ben Affleck
as Batman or Henry Cavill as Superman.
