Raw Thrills : Injustice Arcade Cards

Injustice Arcade by NetherRealm Studios and Raw Thrills, Inc. debuted on October 16, 2017, at Dave & Buster's locations before general release. The card-based arcade game is a port of the Injustice: Gods Among Us mobile game. The cabinet dispenses one random physical card after each match. Players can also purchase a random card using the vending option. Each box contains 700 cards and there are nine boxes per case. The deluxe 55" cabinets have a 1,200+ card capacity.

All four series contain 100 base cards divided into three different tiers of rarity: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Randomly distributed holographic-foil parallels are available for each card. The cards are scanned with the arcade dashboard reader to unlock characters and build teams for battle. Each player can scan up to three individual character cards or one Team Card per match. A Boss card is equivalent to one team.

  

The Beta Edition of Series 01 received a limited print run before being discontinued. The Beta Edition printed an estimated 1,500 copies of each Gold-tier base card and 600 of each Gold-tier foil parallel. Series 01 Beta Edition cards are slightly more narrow, which led to scanning errors. The second printing of Series 01 is a wider card with a more compact barcode, pictured below:

Series 02 was released in February 2019. Series 02 introduced ten rare Team cards. The Team card combines the stats of three existing characters. "Man of Steel Superman" appears on the Justice League Team card with "Arkham Origins Batman" and "Justice League Wonder Woman."

 

Series 3 was released in March 2021. Series 3 introduced ten rare Boss cards. One Boss card is equivalent to one Team card. "Godfall Superman" appears in the Boss subset. Error cards with misprinted backs have been observed in Series 3.

Series 4 was released in August 2022. Series 4 introduced ten rare Gear cards. The cards contain a preset gear loadout with abilities similar to the mobile game. "Man of Steel Superman" appears in the Gear subset.

 

The first Superman arcade card was released by the Exhibit Supply Co. (ESCO) in 1949.

The Injustice Arcade base card checklist is identical for all four series. All cards have a holographic foil parallel.
