2003 Inkworks : Justice League Premium Trading Cards
Justice League Premium Trading Cards were released by Inkworks on June
25, 2003. The collection is based on the Justice League animated
television series that aired from 2001 to 2004 on Cartoon Network. There are
36 packs in a box. Each pack contains 7 cards including a foil insert. The
series is comprised of 80 base cards, three insert sets, and a checklist.
Sketch cards from the production team and autographs from producer Bruce Timm
were available by mail redemption.
Each Justice League member receives a base subset. Superman is primarily
featured on 9 base cards and 3 inserts.
Each pack contains one "Friends and Foes" foil insert. Superman appears on
card FF1 in this chase set.
"World's Greatest Heroes" inserts are foil holo-chip cards that form a 9-panel
triptych image. The odds of finding a "World's Greatest Heroes" card are
approximately 1:11 packs.
"ActionWorks" lenticular card odds are approximately 1:17 packs. Superman
appears on "ActionWorks" cards AW1 and AWCL.
Limited numbered sketch cards from the art production team were available
through a mail redemption. The odds of finding a sketch card redemption are 1:100 packs. An autographed
card from producer and designer Bruce Timm was also available by redemption.
The odds of finding the autograph redemption card are 1:359 packs. Both
redemption programs have since expired.

Promo cards were distributed on Free Comic Book Day in 2003. The promos use
the same images as the "World's Greatest Heroes" subset.
In 2004, KF Holdings released a seven-card set of
Justice League Power Cards
that was distributed in boxes of Post Cereal.
