2016 Royal Canadian Mint : Batman v Superman
The Royal Canadian Mint issued a lenticular 3D coin and trading card set for
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
in February 2016. The encapsulated 25-cent piece contains a lenticular inset
that shifts between images of Batman or Superman. The observe is an image of
Queen Elizabeth II by artist Susanna Blunt. There were 30,000 quarters minted.
The coin is legal tender in Canada.
Each 3D coin package includes one
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice title card and one randomly inserted
character card of Batman, Superman, or Wonder Woman. Each character card is
limited to 10,000 copies each. The title card is limited to 30,000 copies. The
card text is printed in English and French.
The 2016 Batman v Superman quarters are minted from a cupronickel alloy. A similar coin and card collection was issued by the Royal Canadian Mint for the
Justice League
film in 2018. The Royal Canadian Mint has issued silver and gold coins for Batman v Superman, Justice League, and various DC Comics characters.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was directed by Zack Snyder. The

Pictures issued different promotional card sets for
Batman v Superman. Scenes from the film were featured in the

trading card set released in 2019 by Cryptozoic Entertainment.
