2008 Inkworks : Smallville Season Six

Smallville Season Six Premium Trading Cards were released by Inkworks
Inc. on February 19, 2008. Each box contains 36 packs of 7 cards. There are 10
boxes per case. Packs originally retailed for $2.29 each.
Season six of Smallville premiered on The CW Television Network on
September 28, 2006, and concluded on May 17, 2007. The critically acclaimed
series starred Tom Welling as an adolescent Clark Kent in his adopted Kansas
hometown. Smallville aired for 10 seasons until May 13, 2011.
Nine cast members have signed autograph cards for this set. There is one
autograph card inserted in each box. "Pieceworks" cards feature show-worn
costume memorabilia from season six. There is one "Pieceworks" insert card
in each box.
Inkworks released a collector album binder for this series that
retailed for $19.95. A limited edition uncut sheet of the "Justice" puzzle
numbered to 199 was sold on the Inkworks website for $69.95 per sheet.
This would be the final Smallville set produced by Inkworks. Inkworks also released trading card sets for Smallville seasons 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. After 14 years, Inkworks ceased operations on March 13, 2009. Cryptozoic Entertainment released a single set encompassing seasons 7-10.
In 2020, Tom Welling and Erica Durance would reprise their roles as Clark
Kent and Lois Lane in The CW
"Crisis on Infinite Earths"
crossover event.
